Our job as a Canmore makeup artist & hairstylist is never dull and we are constantly involved in the most beautiful love stories and moments like this special vow renewal in Spray Lakes. This beautiful vow renewal began as a photo shoot with a great team of Calgary wedding vendors collaborating to create the perfect elegant winter wedding inspiration. Janelle from Flowers by Janie was working on all of the design of the bouquets and flowers and her and her husband were also acting as the models in the shoot. Tara Whittaker realized this was the perfect opportunity for a vow renewal and they jumped at the chance to remember their love for each other. Her assistant performed a simple ceremony and blessing on a knoll overlooking the frozen Spray Lakes.
As the Canmore makeup artist & hairstylist we worked with Janelle to create a romantic and elegant look with a loose, side-swept up-do. We added a touch of shimmer and depth to her eyes and kept all of her makeup soft and glowing. We finished the look with a delicate pink lip. All of it looked beautiful with the sun against her shoulders and the towering mountains behind her.
